After Waffle House Shooting, The Psychology Behind How We React In Active Shooter Situations

A deadly shooting saw two very different reactions at a Tennessee Waffle House Sunday. While one man hid, another leapt at the gunman, likely saving several lives. Jim Braude was joined by George Price, a former Boston police officer and former special agent with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, and Dr. Robert Mendoza, president of Boston Forensics and assistant professor at Tufts Medical School, to discuss the psychology behind responses in emergency situations.
